ATTENTION TEAM
PARENTS!
New this year, we
have a Team Parent Yahoo Group to distribute information and to ask
questions relating to the duties of the Team Parent. Weekly
newsletters and important information will be distributed
electronically and not via team mailboxes as in years past.
The team mailboxes
will still be used at each field each Saturday for the distribution
of other items or information so be sure to check your mailbox each
Saturday of the regular season.
How to sign up
for the Region 55 Team Parent Yahoo Group:
1. If you do
not have a Yahoo ID, you’ll need to establish one first (it’s
free). Go to
www.yahoo.com and follow the
directions for a user id. If you already have a Yahoo ID, go to
step 2.
2.
Membership for
this Group is by invitation only to control spam. Any Parent or
Volunteer in the Region may join for the current season. To request
an invitation, please send an email to TeamMom@AYSO55.org with the
following information:
1. Your name
2. Your Team
Number (ie U6B-24)
3. Your position
on the team (Team Parent, Coach, Parent)
4. Home & Cell
phone numbers
5. Email address
(if different than the one you use to request to
join
this group)
You will then
be sent an invitation to join this Group. Follow the instructions
in the email to be activated. I suggest you choose to receive
“individual emails” and not “daily digest” to ensure timely delivery
of information.
3. Log into
the Group, go to www.yahoo.com .
4. Click on
“Groups” on the left.
5. Search in
Groups for “AYSO 55”. “AYSO55_TeamParent”
should come
up or you can go
direct to:
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/AYSO55_TeamParent/
6. Log in with
your Yahoo ID.
7. Ask or
post any question(s) you have relating to the Region’s Team Parent
program and/or read the newsletters for information.
